The combined annual meeting is set up to showcase both traditional clinical outcomes as well as new technology. All speakers are experts in the field of Computer Assisted Orthopaedic Surgery and will explain and discuss what the advent of computers means for the Orthopaedic field. Furthermore, the congress offers participants the opportunity to presentate their abstract. The congress consists of interactive lectures, debates and keynote lectures by plenary speakers. Besides the introduction of the computer navigated surgery the congress will also invigorate the effect of robotics, advanced medical imaging, individual assessments of soft tissue characteristics and customisation. Building on that, the SICOT session will focus on machine learning, simulation and artificial intelligence in the field of education.
