To celebrate the 10th anniversary of 3D-Surgery Munich, the 2019 annual International 3D Surgery Course will this year be held in Munich. The goal of the course is to fully understand specific cases by proper analysis and then plan the surgery meticulously, selecting the best procedure for each individual patiënt. To achieve this goal, a renowned international faculty will present the current and future concepts of surgery for bone defects, deformities and limb length discrepancies. They will present concepts for analysis and planning of surgeries, such as affordable software tools and the End-Point-First technique (EPF). The course will also focus on modern techniques, such as locking plates, computer assisted hexapod systems and fully implantable lengthening nails. To enhance your uptake from the course, a large part of the course will be taught with hands-on experience, using drawing labs, bone model labs and the optional practice of surgical techniques in the cadaver lab.
