This course is set up for the medical assistent to become an "orthopedic traumatological specialist assistant (OTF)". The course is split up in 4 modules of 1.5 days each, focussing on topics of practical care in emergency situations which happen on a daily basis in the orthopaedic or traumatological field. Due to this advanced training, the organisers aim to give assistents the tools to optimalize the care for their orthopaedic-traumatological patients.
The course is taught by experts from orthopedic and trauma surgery. The course consists of theoretical knowledge as well as a practical part (plastering, casting, taping, etc).
