The 53th Annual Musculoskeletal Tumor Meeting of the Japanese Orthopaedic Association

With the main theme “Everything for the good of the patients”, this annual meeting aims to teach participants that taking care for the patients is not the same as simply curing the disease. Taking care of a patient includes aspects such as educating the patient, informed consent, employment and marriage. Besides this wide range of topics, patients with a musculoskeletal tumor are also treated by a multidisciplinary team. This is why this Annual Meeting includes open sessions for staff and nurses.

The course has set up several case study sessions focussing on clinically educational cases, as to reassure that the topics are also in the interest of general orthopedic surgeons and not only the musculoskeletal tumor specialists and pathologists.
In addition to the many lectures, participants can also attend a special training session on musculoskeletal tumors.
